One-on-one, confidential, and personalized.

Your initial nutrition coaching session includes a complete nutritional assessment, goal setting, and a customized meal plan based on your individual needs. Appointments are available in person, via Zoom, and by telephone.

Meet Maya.

Maya is a nutritionist specializing in chronic disease prevention. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Health, Fitness, and Recreation Resources, with a concentration in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, from George Mason University. In December 2023, she completed her master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Sensory Sciences at Kansas State University - an achievement she is most proud of. In September 2025, Maya became a Certified Nutrition Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

Maya is passionate about helping individuals stay well through evidence-based, preventative nutrition. She is dedicated to educating both individuals and communities on how to support long-term health through simple, nutrient-dense, and enjoyable foods.

Maya specializes in:

  • Type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease (including high blood pressure and high cholesterol), and cancer prevention

  • Obesity prevention, weight management, and overcoming weight loss plateaus

  • Women’s health, including hormonal changes, anxiety, and depression

  • Senior health

  • Overall wellness
